Auburn Asian Welfare Centre was established in 1989 by a group of concerned residents in Auburn area. It is strongly supported by the local community, volunteers, government and non-government agencies. It is registered as a charitable incorporated organisation and administered by a Management Committee. The Centre provides services to the local community with a particular focus in Chinese speaking residents in Auburn and neighbouring area.
