Auburn Asian Welfare Centre (AAWC)

The centre was established in 1989 by a group of concerned workers in Auburn area.  It is strongly supported by the local community, volunteers, government and non-government agencies.  It is registered as a charitable incorporated organisation and administered by a Management Committee.

The centre provides services to the Asian community with a particular focus on Vietnamese and  Chinese-speaking residents in the local government of Auburn and its neighbourhood.

 

奧本亞洲福利中心簡介

本中心在1989年成立, 是一個政府批准正式註冊為非牟利慈善福利機構, 本中心是一個非政治, 非宗教的社區組織, 宗旨在協助亞洲人包括華人及越南人了解澳洲社會, 從而能順利地適應澳洲社會的多元文化生活.

本中心聘請有社會工作員, 行政助理及文員加上義工及委員共同推行各項會務配合社工服務, 而經費來源大部份由政府資助.
