Gambling Counselling & Education Project
Project Name: Counselling with Chinese -speaking Community in the Treatment and Prevention of Problem GamblingThe project is funded by the NSW Responsible Gambling Fund.
Brief Description: The project aims to minimise the adversity of problem gambling impacting on
individuals, families and the community and to prevent the onset of
problem gambling.
Objectives: 1) Reduce the adversity of problem gambling affecting gamblers and their families through counselling.
2) Conduct counselling for individuals and families who are at-risk of developing problem gambling. 3)
Promote protective measures against the development of problem gambling
to recreational gamblers / interested community members through
educational workshop.
Target Group: Chinese-speaking families and individuals in Sydney.
